WHAT WILL BE COVERED:

This is a free 2-hour Golden Artist Colors Conversation and Demonstration where you'll discover the possibilities of modifying your acrylic paints with Mediums, Gels, and Pastes! This event focuses on GOLDEN’s vast array of Acrylic Mediums, Gels, & Pastes. Gain a broad understanding of each product and the unique qualities each has to offer for building up volume which can be translucent to opaque. Did you know GOLDEN acrylic Gels, Mediums and Pastes are great adhesives for mixed media work? We will be sharing how these products can be used to modify paints, changing the sheen, viscosity, drying time, and texture. They can be used for image transfers, creating encaustic effects or to build up translucent layers within your artwork. All of these products can be applied to a wide range of surfaces such as paper, canvas, wood panels and so much more. You’ll learn valuable information about our products and network with other artists. GOLDEN Working Artists’ will also share several examples, techniques and answer your questions during the event.

HOW TO REGISTER:

Registration must be done through GOLDEN's registration website. Follow the instructions below to register.

2. Fill out the online registration form.
3. Under 'Event Name', from the drop-down menu, select 5/25= W83-374 on-line Art Placement with Samantha Williams-Chapelsky
4. Press the 'submit' buttom once you have filled in all required fields.

WHO YOU'LL BE LEARNING FROM:

Samantha Williams-Chapelsky This online workshop is presented by Samantha Williams-Chapelsky, the Golden Working Artist for the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. In addition to her work for Golden Artist Colors, Samantha also works as an art instructor and lecturer, hosting workshops and sessions across Alberta. Samantha Williams-Chapelsky completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Alberta in 2009, with distinction, majoring in painting and art history. She has been exhibiting her art extensively for the past 15 years worldwide.
