Winsor and Newton - Griffin Alkyd Fast Drying Oil Colours

The range of Griffin Alkyd colours is manufactured from pigments suspended in oil modified alkyd resin and solvent. The fast drying nature of the alkyd colours allows a painting to be completed in one session. The clarity of the alkyd resin allows the full brightness of the pigment to show when the colour is dry. These oils have an ideal consistency for impasto techniques with a luminosity and speed of drying which, when used with Liquin Medium, provides superior glazing capability. Griffin Alkyd is highly recommended for use on a variety of porous surfaces and especially for work that is to be exhibited outdoors and on fabric. These oils can be used in conjunction with standard oil colours to provide a variety of tones and techniques.
