Speedball Water Soluble Block Printing Inks

Speedball Block Printing Tools

Lino Cutter Blades

Lino cutting blades fit interchangeably into the Speedball Lino Cutter Handle. The regular style blades come in 6 shapes/sizes, for traditional carving where carving force is applied away from the user's body. The Zip Cutter style blades provide a safer alternative. Their "bent" design, means that the carving force is applied in the opposite direction, towards the user. This allows for greater control and reduces the likelihood of accidental slips and injuries. Please note: all of these tools are sharp and can easily cut skin. Great care should be exercised when using any sharp tool.

SOFT RUBBER BRAYERS are made from soft, natural latex gum rubber with a precision-ground finish, Speedball Soft Rubber Brayers are ideal for use with linoleum, soft block, or woodcut. The heavy-duty steel frame provides enhanced durability, and the flexibility of the 40/42 durometer ensures for even ink distribution. Speedball Rubber Carving Blocks

High density rubber blocks provide a fast and easy carving surface for students, printmakers and stamp carvers. The Speedy Cut block is slightly thicker, which allows a shallow design to be carved into both sides. The Speedy Carve block is very flexible and durable and will not crack, crumble or break. Speedy Carve easily transfers a range of images from ink jet printers,clip art and newspapers. The Speedy Cut Easy blocks are very smooth and easy to carve. Flexible, will not crumble or break. Use slightly warm iron to transfer ink-jet and laser-print images.

Speedball Linoleum Blocks

Red Baron® Linoleum Blocks - Speedball is now offering traditional "battleship" gray linoleum available in a wide range of sizes. 1/8" thick blocks have a jute backing. Ideal for use with either oil or water-soluble block printing inks. Mounted lino blocks have a rigid, MDF backing board attached.

Woodzilla Hand-Operated Plate Presses

A5 (5.875 x 8.25) Matte Black The smallest press in the Woodzilla range, afforable but still the quality and printing results you can expect from a Woodzilla press. A heavy duty hand operated lino press, with 18 mm press plates. The press is suitable for DIN A5 (5,8 x 8,3 inch, junior legal+) size lino cuts, but can also be used for flower pressing, woodcut printing, paper stamping, etc. It’s steel frame is fully welded and has a matt black powder coating finish, which is very durable and easy to clean. The pressing plates have a 3-layer PU-lacquer semi-gloss finish. When working with thicker materials, the upper plate can be raised by means of the 2 wing-screws. Anti-skid shoes under the press prevent the press from skidding. A felt press blanket is delivered with the press. During pressing this press is very stable. When not in use, simply place the press upright so it will take up little space in your workshop!
