Demco Oil Mediums

Demco Linseed Oil

Add gloss appeal to your work while slowing the drying time of oil paint. Reduces consistency and improves flow, allowing brushstrokes. Linseed oil will increase the possibility of wrinkling the oil layer, it is therefore recommended to use sparingly. Clean brush with Taltine or turpentine.

Demco Stand Oil

For best results, use in the final layers of the oil painting to create fluid brushstrokes for a smooth finish. Ideal for glazing time is slowed while paint film remains moderately elastic. Colours will become more intense and glossy while resistance to yellowing will increase. Clean brushes with Taltine of turpentine.

Demco Taltine (Odorless Solvent)

Our popular multipurpose paint thinner and solvent has the same properties as turpentine coupled with the beneficial removal of harmful aromatic elements. Due to its slow drying characteristics, Taltine is usefull in controlling alkyd and oil colours. Ideal for cleaning art tools such as brushes, palette knives and palettes.
