As part of the 2024 Nuit Blanche night-time art festival in Saskatoon, Bratwurst presents Sausage Party, a fabric festooned meat stall and food cart on the street in front of Art Placement Gallery. Stop by to construct your own soft sculpture hot dog, a colorful feast for the eyes that you can top however you like!

Sausage Party is a participatory installation presented as part of the Nuit Blanche night-time art festival. A soft sculpture delicatessen, the perfect backdrop for a selfie, will fill the window of art placement gallery, while a hot dog cart on the street offers fair-goers an opportunity to assemble their own visually tasty treat to take home: a soft sculpture hot dog complete with a full assortment of topping options.

Bratwurst is Alexa Hainsworth, Jasmin Fookes, and Levi Nicholat. They explore a lowbrow approach to art by mingling interdisciplinary practices with humour. Bratwurst allows them to put their perspectives on the art world, as both artists and arts workers, to constructive use. Employing satire and parody, their objective is to find fun and joy in the conventions and hierarchies of the art world.
