Open Studio will transform the traditional exhibition gallery into a work space for artists to create, experiment, collaborate, learn from and inspire each other. Taking place June 20 - July 16, 2022 at art placement gallery, OPEN STUDIO will consist of four one-week residency periods. Each week, a different group of artists will share the space, using it as their temporary studio.

OPEN STUDIO is a space where artists can make work, try out new ideas, conduct experiments, explore collaborations, undertake a site-specific installation, or whatever else they might see fit to do in the context of a shared work space.

OPEN STUDIO is one part of The Community Project. The Community Project is a series of events, workshops, and activities to build connections among the artists of Saskatoon.
