Art Placement is pleased to host the Poster Show & Sale by BAM (Bridges Art Movement) and DTNYXE (Downtown Saskatoon Improvement District). The Poster Show & Sale is on display at Art Placement Gallery from December 4th to 31st. At the same time, "Tissue", an installation by Alexa Hainsworth, will be on display at the BAM Gallery in the Drinkle Mall at 115 3rd Ave S. Both events will be celebrated through a joint reception on Thursday, December 16th from 6-8PM. Visitors are encouraged to undertake a 3rd Avenue art walk and stop in at both locations. Many of the artists will be in attendance. The posters are also currently on display throughout downtown Saskatoon in DTNYXE's directory boxes.

Bridges Art Movement (BAM) has partnered with Downtown Saskatoon and Art Placement to host a public exhibition & poster sale. BAM selected 24 artists from across the province to be featured throughout downtown Saskatoon’s directory boxes. The exhibition features original art and designs from established, emerging, and youth artists.

Covid shifted the way the city both functioned and appeared. Events, movies, shows, exhibitions, and performances were cancelled or postponed. Poster directories and sites across the city were left untouched for months. The pandemic made it abundantly clear that shared culture experiences, art, and expression are fundamental to the human spirit. The poster show and sale was developed during COVID19 as a way of creating camaraderie during these unprecedented times.

$40 each with 100% of proceeds going to the artists.
