Kim Ennis "By the River"

Kim Ennis (born 1956 in Saskatoon) is a self-taught artist and founding member of the Prairie SculptorsÂ’ Association. He worked as a sculptor for many years in bronze, stone and wood before turning to painting in 2003. This exhibition focuses on paintings completed over the last six months, each work painted in reference to the South Saskatchewan River. Different vantage points, times of day, and views are used as starting points for EnnisÂ’ engaging exploration into paint, colour and space.
