DOUGLAS BENTHAM - Recent Works Reception: no reception October 18 to October 28
Concurrent with the presentation of Douglas Bentham's installation, "The Tablets", at the Gordon Snelgrove Gallery on the University of Saskatchewan campus, Art Placement is pleased to present four new sculptural works from a developing series. Densely arranged fragments of recycled brass are woven together in these latest compositions with Bentham's characteristic elegance and aesthetic balance. The found components present a menagerie of plant and animal forms, swirling within their newly constructed, self-contained ecosystems.

This exhibition of Douglas Bentham's first-ever installation work is on view at the Gordon Snelgrove Gallery on the University of Saskatchewan campus from October 18th to October 27th. There will be a closing reception on Friday, October 27th at 7:00 pm.
