Jordan Broadworth was born in Esquesing, Ontario in 1968. Broadworth studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (BFA 1992) prior to graduating from the University of Guelph's Master of Fine Art program in 1996. He has participated in over 30 exhibitions in Canada and the United States. Reviews and articles on Broadworth have appeared in The Globe and Mail, The Hudson Review, New York Times, Canadian Art Magazine, and C International. He has received grants from the Ontario Arts council and the Canada Council for the Arts. In 1993 Broadworth was selected as a Central Canadian Finalist for the RBC Painting Award.
