Fine Art Crating:

We construct durable wooden shipping crates for transporting artwork. Our crates will withstand shipping by ground or air carrier. Our popular standard wooden shipping crates are constructed of kiln-dried spruce lumber and 3/8” plywood sheeting to protect against damage during normal handling and travel. A foam lining provides shock absorption and helps insulate against sudden changes in temperature. Interior polyethylene wrapping serves as a vapor barrier. Crates can be constructed to hold single or multiple artworks. Multiple-use crates can be designed for traveling exhibition purposes. We can arrange the shipment of artwork within Canada for an additional handling charge, or can advise you in making your own shipping arrangements.
