Solucryl-the Incredible Resoluble Acrylic

Solucryl is a resoluble acrylic watercolour that dries to a matte, opague, non-dusty flexible paint film. Although it is characterized as a fully resoluble paint when dry, it can be made permanent with the addition of Solucryl Permanent Medium.

The three primary colours are excellent for producing all secondary colours- pre-schoolers onward have no difficulty in mixing vivid oranges, greens and purples.

In the classroom, Solucryl may be used from kindergarten to grade six as a gouache or watercolour. With the addition of the Solucryl Permanent Medium, Solucryl provides an economical entry level acrylic for older students and adults.

Use Solucryl right out of the jar or pour into plastic cups and allow to dry for use as a tempera block. Used as a block, Solucryl will instantly moisten over and over again.

With the addition of different mediums, Solucryl can be used for mono printing, screen printing, paper marbling, fabric painting and makes the best introductory paint for learning airbrush. Even adults learning painting techniques such as Japanese brush painting and traditional watercolour enjoy the brush-ability and vibrant colour of Solucryl.

Solucryl is manufactured from 100% pure acrylic solution. It is non-toxic & safe for children's use. Unlike gum arabic- based products such as tempera and gouache, Solucryl has an excellent shelf life. Solucryl will not separate in the jar, nor will it have fungus growth after the summer holidays!
