Monarch

These professional synthetic brushes mimic the look and feel of natural Mongoose hair. Just like Mongoose hair, the polyester filaments in Monarch brushes provide a stiffer alternative to sable hair, but are softer than hog bristle. This means excellent blending, glazing, and fine detail work. In addition, because Monarchs are synthetic, they are more durable than natural hair. They have more spring, making them better for moving heavy bodied oil colour, as well as being less prone to damage from solvents or paint. They are also excellent for acrylics and water-mixable oils. Please check with our staff for the availability of sizes.
